Based. Pretty sure the US allows more practical ebikes too. UK limits the motor to 15mph which I would find useless for commuting. Might be nice for a heavy cargo bike but unsure how much the 250w power cap would limit its effectiveness there. Suppose better than nothing.

The US has no federal regulations at all, but most states allow for up to class 3 ebikes on the street.
