    Journalists, I think, pick someone they think will be easy to bully and stick to harassing that person regardless of whether they succumb to the pressure or not.

    Much like pathological bullies from high school

      “monstering”–to hound, abuse, interrogate and otherwise ruin the life of a public figure in the name of journalism.

      The recent anti-Hasan campaign has really illuminated how much they will twist and amplify every little thing they can.

        Hassan Piker is a knobhead and has done absolutely nothing for your cause. He is a negative impact.

        You win there by just admitting he is not a socialist and no longer being emotionally swayed by whatever shenanigans journalists are writing about him

          Tbf, I wouldn’t say he’s done nothing. He has a platform, and his messaging has been more leftist than nearly every other politician in the US.

          He’s not Lenin, but he’s not a random nobody either
