The text characters, the letters are all slightly weirdly shaped, warped and sized, they dont site on the same baslines, and spacing is inconsistent. I dont think its compression artifacts but more that the text is AI generated as ‘images of letters’ thather than text itself.

Agreed, i have come across all the other shortenings you listed but ‘scarnon’ is kinda weird, especially because when typing its bout as much effort as saying ‘wots goin on’. Im not saying its not used ever in text form but its likely extremely rare, localised or just deliberatly for comedic effect.
Never once came across it in text.

This is definately verbal slang/pronouciation though, a condensation of “whats going on” without the ‘spaces’ between words as aussies do.
Nobody would text this.
Well in that case it WAS built with multiple safety mechanisms and failsafes, and it was deliberate human actions that caused the catastrophy.
