My favourite was the outage tracker failed because of heavy load. I also heard they couldn’t call the on call tech because his mobile wasn’t working because of the outage.

If you are on concession it’s free. If yours a full paying family it’s $110 per year.

In Victoria it’s $50 for a single and $110 for a family annually. Concession is free. Ambulance Victoria does good work and saves many lives, as do ambulance services everywhere.

Agreed. Looks like a deceased member is a grey area. If a medical practitioner calls the ambulance then you’re covered, if you call it could be at your expense. Note this is for Ambulance Victoria and could be different in other places.

I’d vote for that but until it is the best bet is ambulance cover in Victoria. Good on Qld for showing us up.

If it’s a false alarms you get billed by fire rescue Victoria. This is normally when it’s a fire alarm system but can be when someone calls.
I’d argue that a fire is relevant to whole community where as medical is just for that person. Obviously this is dependant on the situation and the fire departments do take that into account.

Everyone should get ambulance cover. It is affordable and directly funds the ambulance service.

Musk said he would close the soup kitchen if Trump got selected and then the citizens of USA elected Trump. They got what they wanted. Elon only cares about Elon but from what I can see USA citizens only care about themselves too so the only difference is scale.

Most of the planet survives without government handouts. The American people voted in a guy that said he was going to cut the funding of all these programs and then did it. Blame USA citizens for this. Musk and Trump said they would do these horrible things then people there voted for it. Crazy to believe that the system does as intended and gives the power to the majority.

I had a wank yesterday which could have turned into a baby, that doesn’t make me a killer

Musk is killing people?

I hear you but wanted to make a point that the other brand (and most old brands) have done some pretty shameful shit. Musk is of questionable character and supports people that aren’t great for the common man but his company isn’t building tanks to kill Chinese civilians or trucks to transport Jews to concentration camps. His car is currently just a car, I wouldn’t buy it but it’s just a car.

Can’t build a comms room for that price let alone a data centre.

Nissan aren’t really Nazi’s but the head was charged with war crimes after WW2 wasn’t he? They had a factory using forced labour in China or Japan. Either way fucked up

I hear you but with the privatised system that has been handed to us the whole system goes to the lowest bidder. Unfortunately most people want to pay as little as possible so hospitality and caring roles are in a race to the bottom.

Is this murder or manslaughter?

Who is performing the help? We don’t have enough people now that want to help. Go to any nursing home and see that we need to import the help. If we want to continue that way then we need to grow. Either people are born here or we import births from other countries. Either way the births have to happen.

Half the shit inmyour house didn’t exist 100 years ago. The things we need/want in our lives now take more effort to design and build. Go move in with the Amish if you want the 100 years ago life
Middle Management be middle management and just want to get inside their budget. C suite don’t care and try to scare everyone off from asking for what is needed. The Optus outage showed that they had no backup plan and Telstra hubris meant they thought it wouldn’t happen to them.
