7·15 days agoCharles Bronson is not on this poster cover as his agent decided it would have been bad for his career. Such a C movie cover. Those fucking shades and awkward 🚁.
On that note, awkward helicopter is an awesome band name.

1·21 days agoZzzz too little too late NYT and who cares about OpEds when that is the only place you have real honest news.
They’ll roll over again and again for fascists, they’ve long excused every kind of horrific action.
There was an opportunity missed here to have the armored men with black eye liner and Docs to double up.

3·1 month agoI’d like to agree with you but in the mind of sick companies, I don’t know that would be how they see it.
Any chance to cut labor, and “we were unable to verify you, please call our horrific phone tree and wait on hold to hear we’re “experiencing higher than normal wait times” for the 94th month in a row”, it will be used to force people by pain to submit their PII just to pay their gas bill.

As long as Europe militarizes in response to fill the gap (read some stories about the decades of reliance on US suppliers for arms. Technology, etc. last week that shows lots of work to be done before EU is back in fighting shape).

1·2 months agoWhat drought? Ministry of information hasn’t approved any communication around a drought.
What’s app was cool as shit, until, just like Michael Bolton, something shitty in the world happened.
I installed it for an upcoming trip with loathing just because I know I may stay in places and not be able to connect with a hotel or host if I don’t use whatsapp. The EU better get their shit together since they were trying to lead on digital privacy…

'first COVID, then inflation" as if that were the start of the experience. Go back to NAFTA, passed by the Dems and Clinton when the party became fully corporate owned, that was the end of the US middle class, and the 90s was when education also died and became a commodity with universities being run by MBAs looking at students like they were cell phone plan subscribers. Education became unaffordable over just a matter of years while good middle class jobs went to Mexico (for those that already weren’t shiped overseas elsewhere).
Reagan’s destruction of the air traffic controller union, along with the introduction of the 401k were watershed moments for greed, financial insecurity and economic instability, and the end of the US’s flirtation with not being run by ultra rich.
