Wie gesagt, ein Verbot führt nur dazu, dass eine leicht abgewandelte Version auf den Markt kommt die nicht unter das Verbot fällt und man dreht sich jahrzehnte lang im Kreis. Du kannst nicht alle mobilen Vapes verbieten. Warum nicht einfach das eigentliche Problem beseitigen und eine angemessene Zwischenlösung finden anstatt immer alles pauschal verbieten zu wollen. Wann hat das jemals funktioniert?

Das ist doch genau mein Punkt, es wird nichts an der Situation ändern, dass die Vapes das gleiche kosten und einfach weggeschmissen werden. Um zu verhindern, dass sie im Müll landen, muss es einen Anreiz geben, sie ordnungsgemäß zu entsorgen, zum Beispiel durch Pfand.

Bei Pfand gehts um recycling, nicht um Reduktion der Verbrauchsmenge. In diesem Fall auch vor allem wie im Artikel beschrieben um die Brände in den Abfallanlagen. Die Akkus aus Vapes kann man wunderbar dutzendfach recyclen, nur halt nicht wenn sie im Restmüll oder Fluss landen.

Einweg-Vapes zu verbieten wird nur dazu führen dass sie aufladbar werden aber ohne austauschbare Kartusche und dann landen sie trotzdem alle im Müll.

Yes not everyone has the time to read full articles and so people may misinterpret headlines. It happens.

Also your last argument doesnt even make sense. Environmentalists dont promote deforestation as an environment-friendly alternative to gas. Wood heating is promoted as carbon neutral (by people profiting off it, mind you), which it more or less is, but it has other significant flaws that the article points out. And putting that in the headline is important especially if most dont read the article. Some people are about to switch heating systems and are thinking about buying a pellet heater assuming it is just as climate friendly as a heating pump. Reading the headline may make them reconsider.

Unfortunately it doesnt list all countries but the US is in 7th place with 62kt exports to non-OECD countries so at least we know that all other countries are below that in total exports. ‘Most countries’ would already have a lower per-capita at that amount.
