They can kill a bill for a parliamentary session (1 year), if it’s reintroduced in the following session it can be sent for royal ascent without the lords’ approval. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parliament_Act_1949
Technically the king could refuse ascent, but that hasn’t happened since 1708.
