meanwhile i’ve always had long hair, literally been mistaken for a girl at least once by a teacher, and i ended up being masculine nonbinary 🙃
I just really like the idea of having feminine features while being swole as fuck and largely looking “normal”, so bigots feel uncomfortable. It’s just a shame i’m not particularly into men, that would be the cherry on top.

I’d say no to a haircut every time, but as soon as my grandpa said something about looking like a girl they’d cut it anyway.

I kept hoping they wouldn’t cut it too short and let it at least look alternative, but every time they’d cut everything off bc “what was the point otherwise” or some bullshit. I’d feel kinda sad and not know why, but still put on a brave face and not complain. It sucked so much and I was always envious of kids who got to have long hair.
