Hearing about students experiences feels like validation for my choice of not going which was driven by the massive costs and not really being sure what to do or why I should bother going.
It’s great if you know what you want out of it. If you’re thinking of going for lack of better ideas… it’s one of those experiences that is interesting and enlightening, but not worth the price.
I didn’t really have any idea or direction at that age and just knew I didn’t think far more debt than I could even comprehend was a good idea so avoided that. Because I wasn’t going to uni I was just ignored by school.

honestly, the economy is fucked for everyone. i would be very surprised if any other field pays high wages long term.
So what? Most people will never see high wages, just focus on earning enough. I don’t care if you can’t afford a mansion.
