Man, I’m not exactly a Reagan fan (he would be one reason I would want hell to be a real thing), but I’m pretty sure he didn’t think that getting magnets wet would destroy magnetism, a fundamental force of nature.

No disagreement, but i don’t think this image is trying to rehabilitate his image in any way. That quote is undisputably one of his most famous, much like how Nixon’s most famous quote is “I am not a crook!”. Both bad people.
I also don’t think that quote in particular is what will end up being the one Trump will be most known for. He has said a lot of dumb shit and a lot of reprehensible shit over the years.
