- Which mods/admins were being Power Tripping Bastards?
A mod in [email protected]
- What sanction did they impose (e.g. community ban, instance ban, removed comment)?
- Provide a screenshot of the relevant modlog entries (don’t de-obfuscate mod names).

- Provide a screenshot and explanation of the cause of the sanction (e.g. the post/comment that was removed, or got you banned).
- Explain why you think its unfair and how you would like the situation to be remedied.
Removal of a very cordial & jovial explanation of my anarchist stance regarding monogamy was misread as “rude and confrontational.” I ended conversations respectfully, not expecting backlashes of monogamists in what I thought was a very sarcastic post “Healthy ruleationships.” All I want is the comments returned. The thread can stay locked if the community wishes, and I will not engage in it anymore.
That is all.

it should be cordial. I do like to teach, so I may have had a teaching tone, but not patronizing. I did request not to be patronized about in intimacy, and bunch of other people did.
I feel like you’d benefit to work on your teaching tone tbh; I think folks got defensive in response to it. It is an especially touchy topic, teaching people that they’re participating in oppression
Sure, we can open a [email protected] discussion in [email protected] or heck, I can make it a [email protected] l8r. But I was patronized when I asked not to be. Unsure if it was here or another comment.
Hm… It seems like we have different interpretations of “patronizing”?
This line sounds patronizing to me:
but what you called out as patronizing is this:
I have to agree with this bit in response:
I didn’t make that line! @[email protected] did, and that comment is still up!
Show the full part about dishonesty! That comment doesn’t even show up on the logs!
I already explained myself to @[email protected] cordially. Did you not read the rest of that on purpose‽
I know, and I’m saying that that part of what was said to you did sound patronizing, but you didn’t call that out and instead called out something non-patronizing
That part is irrelevant to whether you were being patronized
I did read it, and I understood it but, like someone else said, you seemed to be having your own 1-sided conversation at them. You quoted them but weren’t actually responding to what you were quoting
I wouldn’t say they were attempting to be super rude or anything, maybe a bit sassy if anything, but I didn’t mind. My biggest issue was that there were a lot of miscommunications and lack of clarity, I think mainly due to their responses being a bit logically scattered. They tended to make leaps in conclusions, causing them to make rebuttals against claims I never made.
Don’t pull me back into this. You earned what you got. YDI
