I tried to bore my son to sleep by reading Dune to him. He now reads the books on his own.

In my high school French class, every Friday we sang French drinking songs. After attendance was taken, my teacher broke out his accordion and we sang all class long.

I used Macromedia Fireworks, then Photoshop, and now Affinity. I still find myself looking for Photoshop stuff in affinity.

I really have tried to get used to gimp. But well my time is too valuable to me.

I dislike the UI for gimp. I spend far too much time trying to figure out where stuff is.

I use affinity designer to crop the PDFs and export them to png. I usually do not do any manipulation, but today needed something. I probably should have stuck it into the iPhone photo app and messed with it there.

I love the look of the older books with the sepia pages. I always try to find the strip I want to post in one of those old books. But some the image quality is poor, or in this case the brightness, and contrast is horrible.

That is great and all, but do not forget about Abbott, Quinta.

According to a new report from Forbes, the Department of Justice is demanding Apple, Amazon, and Google hand over “identities, addresses, and purchase histories” of more than 100,000 users of a “car tinkering app” called EZ Lynk.

The DOJ first sued EZ Lynk in 2021, accusing the company of breaking the Clean Air Act by selling “defeat devices,” which are designed to remove emissions controls on a vehicle. EZ Lynk denies its primary purpose is to help drivers circumvent emissions laws, as its apps can be used for other tweaks and software upgrades, as well as to monitor a car’s performance.

I have corrected my typos.

When I moved my family from Maryland to my home state of New Mexico we were going to build a house from tires as well. Sadly that never happened.

Very neat they did this. But I would not have used cans, aluminum is so recyclable.

I do not correct the original typos. I do my best to proofread, but still miss stuff.

I will update mine and reupload it in the morning.

Because the original is 550x400 and 23 years old, the original text is messy. So i started to replace the text. I use Chalkboard SE, which is really close, if not the original font used. However the Q is not the same, i also think FrogPlague used to stretch the text. I try and post the copy of the original before i replace the text, but I forget sometimes. Today i posted it as a link initially, then realized i did so and changed it to an image.

I tried to run the original text through what the front and it is too pixelated for it to see anything.
